Welcome to the O.F.A.H. Ontario Angler Awards WebsiteHome to 26,604 angler awards since 2004! http://www.ontarioanglerawards.com/
The O.F.A.H. Ontario Angler Awards, in partnership with goFish Ontario, Canada, is a province wide program that officially promotes and recognizes recreational angling efforts in Ontario by both resident and non-resident anglers. This program has been developed to serve as a vehicle to promote sportfishing in Ontario and to encourage the use of the wonderful sustainable resource with a friendly competitive twist. Anglers fishing in Ontario waters may now be recognized for their achievements. Please refer to the O.F.A.H. Ontario Angler Awards rules and regulations for more information and to the Ontario Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary for a complete list of open fishing seasons.
How the Program Works
Angler must be fishing Ontario Waters as per the Ontario Recreational Fishing Regulations Summary Fish must be from the nineteen (19) listed species for the program
Fish must be equal to or longer than the posted minimum length for that species ( Click here for a list of minimun lengths ).
Fish must be caught in the same fishing season as they are being entered ( i.e. 2009 catches will only be accepted in 2009 )
Angler must fill in their entry form online ( via a free online account ) or by postal mail to be recognized for their catch. Once an entry has qualified the angler will receive a FREE certificate, along with an award program decal.
